Internal Auditor Training Course

 

Internal Audits are an essential requirement in the implementation of a efficient and effective management system. As an essential management tool, internal audits can be successfully implemented to assist with the effective implementation of your organisations Food Safety, Quality and Environmental management system

 

This 2 day competency based program has been developed to provide core skills in developing, implementing, and executing, internal audits and following up on audit findings.

 

Who should attend?

This course will benefit those who are responsible for conducting internal audits of their company's management system, either individually or as a member of the company's audit team.

Auditor / Lead Auditor  Training Course

This 3 day advanced course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the practices required to plan, organise, conduct and follow-up an effective audit in accordance with the requirements of ISO 19011.

 

Who should attend?

This course will benefit food safety, quality and environmental practitioners and those people responsible for planning and implementing business audit programs including supplier audits, regulatory audits or independent third party audits

 

Course Objectives

After successful completion of this course participants will be able to:

+        Understand how an audit is planned, organised, conducted and followed-up in accordance with the guidelines of  ISO 19011

+        Apply the audit principles, activities and procedure to the management system of an organisation

+        Understand the various audit activities and apply the techniques of auditing

+        Understand and apply the roles and responsibilities of an auditor and team leader

 

Course Contents

This course includes:

+        planning and implementing audit programs

+        planning, organising and conducting assessments and audits, including preparation of  checklists, designing audit plans and writing effective audit reports

+        human aspects of assessments and audits including effective information gathering techniques

+        qualifications and characteristics of effective auditors

+        activities that are used to assess the competence of participants against the RABQSA International competency requirements

 

Achievement

On successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a

Certificate of Attainment in:

RABQSA-AU Management Systems Auditing

RABQSA-TL  Managing Audit Teams

 

This enables participants to apply to RABQSA as provisional auditor when combined with the FS, EM or QM competencies, which we also offer.
